Mr. Jim Allworth
Jim Allworth has been in the investment business for 51 years, both as a research analyst and portfolio strategist. He has been with RBC Dominion Securities for more than four decades, where he has developed investment policy for the firm and translated that into solutions for individual clients.
As an investment strategist, Jim utilizes RBC’s extensive global economic, political, and sector analysis to develop a strategic view on the expected direction of major financial markets.
Jim co-chairs the Global Portfolio Advisory Committee (GPAC) which provides strategic analysis of financial markets and establishes the asset allocation mix for clients worldwide. He regularly contributes to GPAC’s Global Insight monthly publication.
Jim is a graduate of Simon Fraser University, with a concentration in economics.

Mr. Paul Langley
Paul Langley is a partner at Capital West Partners, a Vancouver-based investment banking firm. With over 25 years of experience, Paul has advised on mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions totaling more than $10 billion. His career includes roles as Managing Director at CIBC Capital Markets in Vancouver and positions with Morgan Stanley and Citibank in London.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from UBC and is a CFA charterholder. A former board member of Providence Health Care, Paul now serves on the Board of the P.A. Woodward Foundation, bringing financial expertise and a commitment to community impact.

Ms. Jill Leversage
Ms. Leversage has over 30 years of experience in the financial advisory and services sector. She began her finance career at Burns Fry Ltd., and has held senior level positions at both RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities. Ms. Leversage currently serves on a number of public and government related boards including MAG Silver Corp., Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc., RE Royalty Ltd. and the Vancouver Airport Authority. She is a Fellow in the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants, a CGIC Accredited Director, and is also a Chartered Business Valuator (ret.) of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators.

Mr. Gregory J.D. McKinstry
Greg McKinstry is a seasoned Canadian retail executive who served as Chief Financial Officer of Woodward’s Stores, bringing extensive expertise in governance, financial oversight, and strategic leadership. Over the course of his career, he has contributed his skills to several prominent boards, making a meaningful impact in the areas of health, arts, and community development.
Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors for the P.A. Woodward Foundation, where he helps guide the foundation’s philanthropic initiatives.
In addition to his current roles, Greg previously served on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver Kidney Foundation and the Vancouver Board of Trade.

Dr. John Shepherd
Dr. John Shepherd is a clinical hematologist and Clinical Professor of Medicine at UBC. He was a member of the Leukemia/BMT Program of BC from 1987 to 2010, eventually serving as its Director and contributing significantly to research on leukemia and innovative therapies. A recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, Dr. Shepherd held the role of Vice President of Clinical Quality at Vancouver Coastal Health and received the inaugural BC Patient Safety Leadership Award in 2007.
Dr. Shepherd has authored over 300 publications and remains an active educator at UBC. He has served on the boards of Genome BC and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society of Canada, chairing Genome BC from 2020–2022.

Ms. Elizabeth Watson
Liz Watson, KC, is a governance expert and the Founder and CEO of Watson Board Advisors. She is passionate about strengthening organizations and advancing community impact, including healthcare through her role on the P.A. Woodward Foundation board.
Liz also serves on the board of Peterson, a North American real estate company, and has previously chaired SHAD Canada and Choice School for Gifted Children. She has held directorships with the BC Cancer Foundation, ICD, and Forum for Women Entrepreneurs.
Liz holds an LLB from UBC, with executive education in governance from Harvard and Ivey. She has been named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women and awarded King’s Counsel in 2012.

Mr. Christopher (Kip) Woodward
Kip Woodward brings decades of healthcare leadership in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors. He has chaired Providence Healthcare and Vancouver Coastal Health and is Vice Chair of Cambie Surgery Centre. Kip has served on the Board of the P.A. Woodward Foundation since 1990 and as President since 2012, leveraging his expertise to support the Foundation’s impact on healthcare. He currently serves on numerous public and private boards.

Mr. David C. Woodward
David Woodward, a lifelong Vancouverite, was the founder of R2P Pet in Hong Kong in 2009, growing it into a leading supplier of pet products before its sale in 2021. After several years abroad, he returned to Vancouver in 2015 with his wife Caitlin and their three daughters. He has also served on the boards of Red Dog Deli and Cosmic Pet.
David is dedicated to fostering meaningful community connections and supporting local initiatives. Known for his entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative approach, he brings creativity and enthusiasm to both his professional and volunteer efforts.

Don Hickling
Don assumed the role of Executive Director of the Mr. and Mrs. P.A. Woodward's Foundation in 2023. Prior to this, Don worked for 25 years as a major gift fundraiser for the three largest lower mainland hospitals. It was during this time that Don became acquainted with the important work of the P.A. Woodward's Foundation, so he was delighted to be able to succeed Jackie Lee Son as the Foundation's Executive Director. Don fondly remembers Woodward's Stores Limited and was a proud employee of Woodward's Lansdowne in the early 80's before a 15-year stint with Canada Trust, where Don held many different roles.
